Description

Twenty years of friendship have kept Ichiha Sonoda, Tsukiyo Higuchi, and Seiki Konoe inseparable, carrying their mischievous bond into adulthood. During college, Tsukiyo—the trio’s only woman—confessed her feelings to Ichiha, and the two began dating. With Seiki’s encouragement, their romance blossomed without disrupting the group’s closeness. Now happily engaged, Ichiha and Tsukiyo enjoy what seems like an ideal life: days spent drinking and relaxing with their longtime friend, followed by intimate nights together. That comfortable routine shatters when Ichiha borrows Tsukiyo’s laptop and finds it still logged in. Hidden on the computer is a sex tape featuring his fiancée and Seiki. Reeling from what appears to be a devastating betrayal, he confronts Tsukiyo, only to hear an explanation he can barely believe: “It’s not cheating. After all, this is from before we started dating.” In The Sweet Secret Of My Fiancée, Tsukiyo Higuchi, that discovery gradually exposes a sexual history concealed beneath two decades of friendship. As Tsukiyo and Seiki’s past comes to light, the bond that once held the trio together begins to unravel. Three adults who have spent more than half their lives as the closest of friends find themselves caught in an increasingly tangled drama of desire, misunderstandings, and fractured trust.
