Description

The Ballad Of Beauregard Jones introduces a riverboat gambler with a folk legend’s name—and a reputation he has yet to earn. Follow Beauregard “Beau” Jones on his rise toward fame and fortune, with his lovely partner Rosie Thorns by his side. Their tale brings together gambling, revenge, love, and occasional steamy sexual encounters, with swinging themes woven into the story. Some content is optional where the broader narrative allows. Chapter 1 opens the day before Beau and Rosie board the illustrious Riverboat Princess for a journey down the Mississippi River toward New Orleans. With departure still a day away, Beau sees an opportunity to scrape together a little extra spending money before they set sail. Naturally, the not-so-legendary gambler has a plan. Whether it leaves him better prepared for the voyage—or proves less promising than he hopes—is something you’ll discover as you play through the opening chapter of Beau and Rosie’s adventure.
