Description

Pour Judgement is a kinetic novel set in a corporate-controlled city, where intrigue, desperation, and lust shape the lives of a down-on-his-luck Fixer and the people around him. Its characters draw heavily on the personalities and designs found in the Legend of Heroes/Trails series, but the story requires no prior knowledge of those games. When university student Agnes notices a disturbing pattern affecting several of her classmates, she seeks out a Fixer to help resolve the problem. With most Fixers firmly in the pockets of major corporations, her options are limited. She turns to Van Arkride—the one Fixer nobody else is naive enough to hire. Each chapter follows a dedicated character’s point of view, shifting the focus as the narrative unfolds. Events are sometimes revisited from different perspectives, offering more than one angle on the troubles drawing Agnes, Van, and the wider cast into the story.
