Description

Shuusaku – DVD-ROM Edition takes place in the girls’ dormitory of Shukusei Music Academy, an elite institution home to some of Japan’s most talented young female musicians. In a school where appearances are everything, its polished reputation conceals a disturbing reality of secrets, intimidation, and abuse. At the center of the story is Shuusaku, the school handyman. His work gives him access to the residents’ private lives, allowing him to uncover secrets that he uses as leverage against them. Rather than simply maintaining the building, he exploits his position to blackmail the musicians and subject them to sexual coercion and humiliation. The academy’s prestigious musical setting stands in stark contrast to the exploitation unfolding behind closed doors. This dark premise centers on the gulf between public respectability and private suffering, with Shuusaku turning the residents’ hidden vulnerabilities into instruments of control.
