Description

Love×Holic ~Miwaku No Otome To Hakudaku Kankei~ is a fantasy visual novel set in a world where humans and demi-humans live alongside one another. Amano Taichi, an unpopular third-year high school student with a fondness for demi-human girls, finds his life transformed after an accidental kiss with his classmate Aoe Kuon causes him to swallow a little of her blood. The encounter gives him an extraordinary constitution connected to a legendary power known as the “Awakening Essence,” drawing the attention of demi-human families. In return for protection from those who might target him, the Aoe household asks Taichi to help awaken Kuon’s abilities. The story brings together characters whose personal feelings are complicated by their families’ ambitions. Kuon, voiced by Himari, is a sheltered, kindhearted girl of mixed vampire and yuki-onna heritage. Kijou Suzuka, voiced by Yahiro Mami, is a wealthy, sharp-tongued oni and Taichi’s second-year junior, who previously rejected his confession but is now under pressure from her mother to secure his allegiance for their clan. Seira A. Senga of the dragon tribe also enters the rivalry, adding to a cast of demi-human heroines whose encounters with Taichi lead toward multiple endings. Gameplay revolves around a location map, with each day divided into morning and evening segments. Players choose where to go, whom to meet, and how to spend time together, with interaction choices awarding different amounts of affection. Visiting Avril at the school opens the Magic Item Exchange Store, where magic essence can be traded for items; certain encounters also allow players to determine how much magical energy to share. The protagonist can be named, although retaining the default name is recommended for consistency with the English machine translation. The interface itself remains untranslated. Developed by Atelier Kaguya BARE & BUNNY and published by Atelier Kaguya and AiCherry, the game originally launched on May 25, 2018, under the Japanese title Love×Holic ～魅惑の乙女と白濁カンケイ～. This final Windows version features GVN’s English machine translation, Japanese voice acting, 2D CG artwork, and mosaic censorship, with an estimated playtime of around 30 hours. To launch it, extract the game folder and run Game_Launcher.exe, a renamed LocaleEmulator executable, then complete the rendering configuration if prompted. Its sequel is Mama×Holic ~Miwaku no Mama to Ama Ama Kankei~.
