Description

A summer job becomes a life-or-death wager in Hakoniwa. At the invitation of his college classmate Haibara Ao, Hasebe Masaaki takes on part-time work at the Hinomori mansion during his summer vacation. When he accidentally breaks an expensive item, however, his plans unravel, leaving him burdened with an enormous debt. The head of the household, Hinomori Kohaku, offers Masaaki a chance to erase what he owes: take part in her game and win, and his debt will be canceled. Lose, and he must surrender his life to her. With his freedom on one side and his life on the other, an ordinary summer at work becomes a gamble with devastating stakes. Yet the wager is only the beginning, as events take an unexpected turn. Kohaku and Ao, head maid Towa, Kohaku’s daughter Hinomori Shuka, and the mansion’s other servants are all drawn into what follows. Within the confines of this lust-filled walled garden, Masaaki’s struggle to escape his debt gives way to days of indecency that entangle the entire household.
