Doghouse
Description
Every action sets unseen consequences in motion, and in Doghouse, those hidden connections draw two strangers and their families into a dark mystery. A detective is searching for his missing wife and daughter. Elsewhere, an ordinary boy struggling with a troubled home life and an unusual bond with his sister is reluctantly taken on a family trip to the forest. Their separate journeys bring them to the Secret Village, an isolated town where an enigmatic religion holds its inhabitants under spiritual control. They arrive in the same place at the same time, but fate soon separates them—not only by distance, but across time itself. Confusion gives way to a desperate struggle for survival as both confront an enemy capable of wielding time as a weapon. With no real weapons of their own and no clear allies to trust, they must face the forces ruling the village and the possibility that survival will demand everything they have. The two strangers will never meet or exchange a word, yet somehow they will come to know each other. As their lives become entwined through consequences they cannot see, the boundary between resisting evil and joining it becomes a question neither can escape. When the siren sounds in the Secret Village, they must choose.
