Description

In Husk, a fresh start leads Red to a sun-scorched, forgotten stretch of desert. Hired to bring a failed motel back to life, he takes the job with the promise of quick cash and a chance to begin again. But reviving the property is only part of what awaits him in this isolated town. When familiar faces from Red’s past arrive looking for shelter, the motel becomes more than a paycheck. He has people to protect, while the locals—who know the town’s secrets—draw ever closer. In a place where he knows less than those around him, keeping his head may be as difficult as keeping his job. With money, a new beginning, and the safety of those he has sworn to shield at stake, Red faces an uncertain future beneath the desert sun. Can he hold on to what brought him here without failing the people now depending on him?
