Eliminator Kaede bills itself as Japan’s most indecent third-person shooter—a self-proclaimed title for a game starring a silver-haired heroine who guns down strange, unidentified creatures. Kaede can mow down these abominations, but the fight does not always go her way: sometimes, they beat her down instead. Beyond the shooting, the game includes voyeuristic scenes in which players can peek at Kaede as she relieves herself in the restroom or masturbates on an instant bed. A freely adjustable camera lets players change their viewing angle during these moments, much to her irritation: “Stop peeping on me, you perv!” Kaede has 10 outfits to wear, each with its own selection of exclusive optional parts, offering a wide range of customization combinations. There are also 20 achievements and a bonus illustration unlocked by meeting a particular condition. The game contains grotesque and offensive material, though most of it will only be encountered by players who deliberately seek it out.
