Description

In Milfheim: The Twisted, Damian returns to his hometown for the first vacation of his university life, hoping to reconnect with friends and meet new people. Placed in an orphanage for reasons he has never understood, he spent his teenage years in foster care before becoming a college student. Now, lodging in a house owned by Helen, he expects a chance to relax in familiar surroundings—but his homecoming soon raises questions about the past he thought he knew. Milfheim is a beautiful city, neither too large nor too small, yet beneath its welcoming appearance lie dark corners Damian never noticed as a child. The longer he lives under Helen’s roof, the more he senses another side to the woman behind her warm smile. Her unease whenever the past comes up only deepens the mystery, while the unspoken truths of his foster mother and the tangled connections among the people who shaped his early life leave him increasingly confused. As Damian steps into adulthood, he must confront not only Milfheim’s hidden, forbidden secrets but also the complicated feelings of the women around him. Desire and love mingle with maternal instincts and friendship, while envy, jealousy, anger, and sorrow threaten to overwhelm him. What do these women truly feel—and how much of his own history has remained concealed?
