Description

In Away From Home, your father—a former police officer—suddenly tells you and your maid to leave for Eva’s house, roughly 2,500 kilometers away. Eva is an old acquaintance of your family, but your father offers no explanation for sending you so far from home. For you, the journey means leaving your familiar surroundings behind and all but starting a new life. You’re reluctant to go, yet your maid has already made the preparations and is ready to hit the road. What begins as an unexplained departure soon brings you back into contact with old friends you haven’t seen in twelve years, alongside new people to get to know. As you adjust to life away from home, the reason for your father’s decision remains an unanswered question. Between long-awaited reunions and unfamiliar faces, you’ll try to uncover why he insisted on sending you away—and why he wouldn’t tell you the truth before you left.
