Description

Eli: The Unhuman takes place in the medieval Kingdom of Ravengale, a peaceful land that has never known war. That tranquility ends when a mysterious fog suddenly engulfs the city. By morning, the poisonous mist brings instant death. At night, it withdraws to the city’s outskirts, forming an inescapable barrier that leaves the townspeople trapped and sheltering in their homes. Darkness brings another threat. Strange humanoid creatures resembling human women emerge from the fog to hunt down the inhabitants. Women who fall into their hands may be killed or infected, transforming into creatures themselves. Captured men suffer fatal sexual assaults. With escape impossible and the streets overrun after nightfall, the city’s homes become its residents’ only refuge. Yet even that protection has a disturbing exception. For reasons no one understands, the creatures cannot enter a house—unless the person inside is alone. In a kingdom once untouched by conflict, survival now depends on staying indoors and never facing the night in solitude.
