Description

In Wings Of Empire, Rome never fell—it carried its conquests into the stars. You play a former Centurion whose service in the Roman Legions ended after a combat injury forced you into retirement. Refusing to leave adventure behind, you begin again as a rookie fighter pilot aboard the Fast Attack Carrier Aquila, bound for the Dark. With the long cold war between the Roman Empire and the Chinese Commonwealth breaking down, your new career offers a chance to pursue glory, discover love, and shape your destiny. This adult visual novel space opera unfolds amid the rivalry of three human powers: the Roman Empire, the Han Commonwealth, and the Japanese Shogunate. As their uneasy standoff unravels and galactic war approaches, romance and political intrigue intertwine with space combat and relationships forged under fire. Its inspirations include the Honorverse, Lost Fleet, and Alliance-Union books, alongside Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Space Battleship Yamato, Starship Troopers, and Battlestar Galactica. From the creator of Love of Magic and Morningstar: Book of the Fallen, Wings Of Empire combines visual novel storytelling with sandbox and RPG elements. A Persona-inspired progression system balances fixed events with free time to explore the world, while a space-based combat system and minigames add variety to the experience. Both combat and minigames are skippable for players who prefer to focus on the story. Wings Of Empire is listed on Steam, where wishlisting helps support its launch.
