Whores And Witchcraft is a brothel management game inspired by Simbro and set in a medieval fantasy world. At this stage of development, its focus is primarily on shortstack characters, including gnomes and goblins. The current version offers a functional character editor with extensive customization options, giving players room to explore different character designs. Developed by a solo creator using Krita, Spine, and Godot, the project is being built around personally drawn character artwork. The next planned step is to implement gnome characters, whose artwork is already complete, followed by a small demo showcasing the narrator/manager system. AI currently assists with coding and the generation of some visual assets, including backgrounds, button textures, and similar elements. Planned uses also include occasional writing assistance and certain audio tasks, such as sound effects and potentially portions of the soundtrack. There are currently no plans to use AI for character artwork, as the developer enjoys drawing the characters by hand.
