Description

In White Lie, a young man newly released from military conscription accidentally kills someone on a rain-soaked night. Panicking, he takes the victim’s memory card—a desperate act that leaves him caught between the aftermath of the death and his father’s overwhelming influence. His father, a man with the power to determine everyone’s fate, makes the evidence disappear. But his help comes with a condition: stop wasting his life, go to medical school, and keep an eye on Kane. What appears to be a demand for a fresh start is also an assignment he cannot ignore. Posing as a medical student, the young man must find a way into Kane’s circle through the people closest to him. Among them is Miw, Kane’s girlfriend and the mentor nurse at the hospital where the young man interns. With his father’s bargain dictating his path, his new life in medicine rests on a deception designed to bring him closer to Kane.
