Description

Under The Same Roof brings you back to a familiar home where timing, exploration, and personal boundaries shape an adults-only sandbox visual novel. Developed by Hooldrafolk, version 0.2 Redux puts you in the role of a male protagonist sharing a domestic setting with his landlady, with everyday routines guiding what you can discover.

Explore the house at different times of day to uncover interactions and see how the household’s changing rhythm affects your options. Rather than relying solely on a linear sequence of events, the sandbox structure encourages you to revisit locations and pay attention to your surroundings. An observation-based progression system connects your discoveries to additional scenes.

With 2D CG, AI-generated artwork, and animated sequences, Under The Same Roof combines visual storytelling with open-ended domestic exploration. Its premise centers on the tension between familiarity and privacy, making the shared home central to both the story and gameplay. Download and play Under The Same Roof v0.2 Redux to explore it for yourself.
