Description

In ToxiCity, disaster arrives quietly. With the town in its off-season, the increasingly deserted streets attract little attention, and people calling in sick seem like nothing out of the ordinary. What begins as a series of easily overlooked changes becomes impossible to ignore when John and his coworker, Kallie, notice a strange fog gathering around their office. Then their connection to the outside world disappears. Cellphone service cuts out, the phone lines go dead, and the two are left isolated at work with no way to reach anyone beyond the building. Venturing outside to investigate brings a frightening discovery: the fog burns their exposed skin and makes them ill. Stranded in their office, John and Kallie must try to understand what is happening and how they might be rescued. ToxiCity turns an ordinary workday into a tense struggle with an unexplained threat, where the danger outside is undeniable and help is far from certain.
