Tool F95zone X-Tools – Personal Library Manager
Description
F95zone X-Tools – Personal Library Manager is a browser extension that brings your adult game collection into one organized, searchable space integrated with F95zone. Built for collectors and players who want to keep track of their discoveries, it automatically captures game details when you add a title and keeps that information updated. Browse your collection through a detailed grid with large cover images and hover information, switch to compact grid or list layouts, or use a drag-and-drop Kanban board to move games between stages such as “Not Started,” “Playing,” and “Completed.” A dashboard puts your current games, titles awaiting updates, and latest notifications within easy reach. Finding something to play is straightforward, whether you remember its name, developer, or a detail from your personal notes: full-text search covers all three. Include or exclude official F95zone tags, filter with your own custom tags, and narrow results by engine, including Ren’Py and Unity, game status such as Completed or On-Hold, or type such as VN. A date-limit slider helps you find games updated within the last week, month, or year. Organization goes beyond filters, with independent personal ratings from one to five stars, play statuses including “Paused” and “Waiting for Update,” custom collections, grouped tags managed through the Tag Manager, and detailed notes with Markdown formatting. The extension also adds convenient controls directly to F95zone. Hover over game cards in “Latest Updates” to add a title to your library with the Star icon, follow its updates, or mark it as seen. On individual game threads, a floating panel lets you change play status, assign a personal rating, place a game in a collection, and sync its latest version information. Followed games are checked for new versions through background synchronization every 30 minutes, with desktop notifications and an unread-update count on the browser toolbar icon. A dedicated Updates view preserves a history of new versions, while your library is accessible through the extension’s toolbar icon or the “My Library” link. For a broader look at your collection, the Statistics page presents charts and graphs covering your most-played engines, ten favorite tags, most common developers, and more. Full backup and restore support lets you export your library, settings, and tags together in a single JSON file, making it easier to safeguard your collection or move it to another computer. You can also schedule automatic backups weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. From saving a promising discovery to tracking progress and following new releases, F95zone X-Tools keeps your personal library manageable without relying on scattered bookmarks or spreadsheets.

Changelog
Spoiler: 3.4.0 - 02/27/2026
F95zone X-Tools - Changelog 3.4.0
New Features
Complete Collection Management: You can now fully manage your custom collections directly from the sidebar.
- Delete: Added a trash icon to permanently remove collections (with confirmation).
- Rename: Added an edit icon to quickly rename existing collections.
- Manual Reordering: You can now drag and drop collections in the sidebar to organize them exactly how you want.
Advanced Rating Filters:
- Public Rating: Filter your library by F95zone public ratings (e.g., 4-5 stars).
- Personal Rating: Filter your library by your own custom star ratings, or find games you have left "Unrated".
Improvements & UI Polish
- Collapsible Card Controls: Added a sleek “⋮” toggle button to the top right of game cards. The control buttons now neatly collapse, keeping the thumbnail view clean and uncluttered.
- Sidebar Accordions Default to Open: The "Collections", "Game Statuses", and "Prefixes" sections in the sidebar now default to being open. CSS was updated to allow smooth opening/closing without truncating long lists.
- Smarter Developer Name Scraping: Greatly improved the accuracy of developer tags. The parser now ignores obvious website domains and intelligently falls back to looking for a "Developer:" text field in the thread body.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Screen Shake on Card Hover: Fixed a highly requested UI bug where hovering over a game card in the bottom row of the grid caused the page scrollbar to recalculate, resulting in severe screen shaking.
- Fixed Backup Export Failures: Fixed a critical bug where Manual and Auto-Backup JSON downloads would instantly fail. The extension now properly waits for the browser to finish writing the file to your disk before clearing the memory blob.
- Fixed "Sort by Date" Inconsistencies: Fixed a sorting bug where games updated on the exact same day would randomly shuffle order. Added a secondary tiebreaker (Date Added / Thread ID) to ensure your library perfectly matches F95zone's bumping logic.
Spoiler: 3.3.0 - 02/26/2026
Bug fixes
Collection drag‑drop only worked for first game
Sidebar links were re‑rendered without drag listeners.
Fix: listeners re‑attached whenever the collection navigation is redrawn.
Kanban cards wouldn’t move between columns
Only sidebar was handling the drop event.
Fix: mainContent now accepts dragover/drop, so you can drag cards on the board.
Status changes lagged in filter counts
Changing a card’s play‑status didn’t immediately rerender the view.
Fix: always rerender after a status change, not just in kanban mode.
Archived games not accessible
No “Archived” column or sidebar filter; “All Games” count excluded them.
_Fixes*:
Kanban shows an Archived column (last one).
Sidebar includes an “Archived” filter; “All Games” count now includes archived items.
Cards dim/greyscale anywhere they appear.
Developer name scraped incorrectly
Some cards showed translators/websites.
Fix: card parser ignores obvious domains; thread parser falls back to a “Developer:” field in the post.
Bulk‑selection UI confusing
“Select” button had no tooltip and no visible behavior change.
Fix: added tooltip; bulk‑actions bar auto‑opens when mode is toggled.
New / improved features
Collapsible card controls – click the small “⋮” icon on a card to expand the full control panel.
Archived column & filter – drag games to it, view counts, and hide/show via filters.
Improved dev parsing – better accuracy for dev namecards and library searches.
Mass collection/tag support – you can now add several games to a collection or tag at once using bulk mode.
General UI polish – tooltips, immediate re‑rendering, drag/drop everywhere.
