Description

The Vixen’s Gambit is an adult chess experience built from the ground up, with every system, character, and line of dialogue crafted by hand. Across the board await seven women, each with her own way of thinking and a distinct approach to the game. Getting to know your opponent is part of the appeal, making each matchup more than a test of chess strategy. As you capture pieces and prove your skill, the woman facing you gradually opens up, stage by stage and move by move. Your progress on the board shapes that unfolding interaction, giving you another reason to think carefully about your next play. Repeated losses make the game more forgiving, with adaptive opponents adjusting to give you a fighting chance. That support does not turn victory into a handout: you still have to earn your win. And when you finally do, your opponent has something to say about it.
