The Vault Of Duvarnach
Description
The Vault Of Duvarnach begins after the end of the world—and just as your own story is taking shape. Your caravan is gone, the wasteland has nearly claimed your life, and your refuge is a vault that predates the Cataclysm, where not every inhabitant is human. Outside lies the Reclaimed, an expanse of ruin and decay populated by desperate scavengers, altered survivors, and raiders who range from people struggling to survive to those who relish what they have become. Something sets you apart, though: an unseen presence has been watching and waiting, and the ancient vault is beginning to recognize you. You found Kira bleeding outside its entrance, with torn clothes, broken ribs, and raiders pursuing her. She woke ready to fight, having lost her home and family before the Convergence left her battling through every day. The vault could finally offer her breathing room, but safety does not come easily. Its pre-Convergence intelligence, the Groundskeeper, controls power, locks, and water recycling while observing your every action—and keeping its judgments to itself until they may come too late. A two-day journey serves as the prelude to your first week inside; once those story days end, you can continue traveling, fighting, fishing, and sleeping as life in the vault carries on. Combat uses turn-based cards, energy management, positioning, and persistent clothing damage: torn garments remain torn. The tabbed interface divides more than eighty moves between Fight, Take Down, Strip & Tease, Break Her, and Use Her, covering knife attacks, takedowns, sexual contact, seduction, humiliation, orgasm control, and sexual encounters during combat. Players who prefer a single large grid can select Classic through Settings > Combat menu, and keyboard shortcuts are included. Animated enemy portraits respond to the action, with separate video clips for your attacks, enemy attacks, knockdowns, and finishing moves. After a victory, you determine each defeated woman’s fate, with options to search, strip, restrain, sexually exploit, share her with Kira, release, or kill her. Some enemies also employ sexual tactics, and defeat can expose you to sexual assault. Kira fights alongside you, but she can be knocked unconscious, leaving you responsible for bringing her home. Her trust, affection, and lust are tracked independently, influencing her dialogue, clothing, and boundaries, including what she permits in her private room down the hall. A coma storyline brings her to the medical bay, where you keep watch and face choices about how you treat her while she cannot intervene. Beyond the vault, a world map connects ruined towns, forests, lakes, and convoy graveyards. Weather and time of day shape your journeys, while road events, ambushes, raiders, scavengers, formerly human creatures, and worse make every supply run uncertain. A scavenger’s toll can be settled with scrap, payment in kind, or a fight. Destinations include the Crossway trader, the Raider Camp, the Overgrown Ruins, the Hollow—a raider stronghold discovered through a map—and other places to search for loot. Fisher’s Rest offers a different pace, with a fishing minigame that lets you hold REEL or Space to struggle against your catch, quiet afternoons on the dock with Kira, a redheaded boat owner seeking a fishing lesson, and Tess, a topless rival angler across the cove who takes bets. Back home, survival means maintaining supplies of food, water, and equipment while making sure you have somewhere to sleep. Hunger warnings give you time to act before your condition deteriorates, a limited-capacity Backpack forces decisions about what to carry, and the vault’s storage room holds what you leave behind. A wardrobe and repair systems let you manage clothing and armor using a sewing kit and scrap cloth, while the medical bay, your quarters, and Kira’s nearby room give the shelter its everyday structure. Your companion remembers how you treat her, and the vault’s mysteries reach deeper than the bones within its walls. Scavenge what you need, survive what finds you, and decide whether to surrender to corruption or preserve what remains of your humanity. Either way, the vault keeps score.
