Description

In The Successor, your life appears almost too good to be true: wealth, cars, women, and more free time than most people could imagine. Few know—or remember—where you came from, yet you and the people closest to you face widespread resentment. It would be easy to dismiss that hostility as envy, but money alone cannot explain it. The real reasons lie in a past the protagonist has been kept unaware of, and only now can he begin to uncover the truth. The story unfolds in Ryudo, a fictional city in Asia. From the outside, it looks like an unremarkable provincial town. Beneath that ordinary exterior, however, lies a haven of depravity and perversion that has drawn numerous influential figures to settle there. In Ryudo, the real business happens on the city’s darker side, far from its seemingly modest public face. Prostitution, orgies, partner sharing, and swinging are all part of a place where nothing is considered taboo. Against this backdrop of privilege and hidden indulgence, The Successor centers on the contrast between an apparently perfect life and the buried history behind the hatred surrounding it. Despite its sexual themes and setting, the game is not focused on netorare.
