Description

A stay in a quiet village takes an unexpected turn in The Shrine Where The Cat Gods Dwell. The protagonist has come to rest, only to find himself suddenly chosen as a sacrifice to the village’s “Cat Gods.” What began as a welcome break now leads him toward a shrine and a ceremony whose demands remain uncertain. Within the shrine await three Cat Gods: Miyabi, Shinogu, and Tamaki. All three are in their reproductive season, and the sacrifice is expected to comfort them. But what does that role truly involve, and what will they ask of the man selected to fulfill it? Built around this unusual predicament, The Shrine Where The Cat Gods Dwell places the protagonist at the center of an encounter with three divine beings. With his peaceful visit upended, one question looms over the approaching ritual: what awaits him when the ceremony begins?
