The Realm is an interactive fantasy adventure by Sylen ThRealm that lets you choose a male or female character and shape their identity through your decisions. Become a mysterious outsider from another world, a hardened mercenary with a difficult past, or pursue a more provocative life. Your journey begins in a cave with little more than your background and, depending on your character, the clothes on your back—or nothing at all. From that modest beginning, you decide how to make your way in the world. Make the cave your home and explore the surrounding lands, or settle in the city with an elf companion. Other paths may lead to captivity among a goblin tribe, while a growing darkness in the north casts uncertainty over whatever future you pursue. Exploration, relationships, and choices guide the experience, giving you different ways to define your character’s place in this troubled realm. Version 0.2.3 includes examinable items, cave upgrades and expansion, a discoverable exploration location, and the assignment “Exploring the Caves of Westdale.” Assignments feature choices intended to produce more meaningful outcomes, alongside quests involving Tracy and the Witch in the forest. The game also includes the option to enslave Tracy and construct a slave pen. Available in English without censorship, The Realm is an HTML-based adventure with adult themes.
