In The Kan’ei Bedchamber War, the ninja village of Reibe has fallen into decline since the end of the Sengoku era. Once famed for its sexual arts, it is now home to dozens of kunoichi and just one male ninja: Kagemaru. Determined to leave, he attempts to escape, only to be swiftly caught and brought back. The village chief offers Kagemaru a single route to freedom: survive ten nights of “night-service battles” against Reibe’s kunoichi without being broken. With his departure hanging on the outcome, each day becomes an opportunity to prepare for the next nighttime challenge. Train Kagemaru, learn new techniques, explore the surrounding area, and earn money to support his preparations. Balancing daytime progress with the demands of each night is central to his bid for escape. Victory may finally secure his freedom, but a crushing defeat could leave him serving the village permanently.
