Description

In The Fox Spirit’s Midnight Stream Deluxe, you play an exorcist determined to prove your abilities to your school by defeating a legendary youko—a fox spirit renowned for her formidable supernatural power. Yet your chance to demonstrate your strength takes an unexpected turn: within just three minutes of meeting her, the supposedly mighty spirit is thoroughly defeated. Bitter about her humiliating loss, the youko reveals why she has become so weak. Modern people no longer fear her kind, leaving her without the faith that fuels her supernatural abilities. Beating an opponent in this condition hardly proves your worth, so you resolve to face the two-tailed fox spirit again once she has regained her powers. That decision leaves you with an unusual problem: before you can earn a meaningful victory, you must help your legendary rival recover her strength. Restoring a fox spirit’s supernatural energy is no ordinary task, but a rather unconventional idea soon comes to mind…
