The Courier

Description

The Courier is a story-driven adult visual novel set on an alternate Earth where humans are a small minority, vastly outnumbered by other races. Confined to isolated towns, humanity lives under the authority of the all-powerful Syndicate. Most residents know little about the world beyond their walls and believe they face a constant threat of attack. Information is tightly controlled, while opposition is crushed with brutal efficiency. Only a select few are permitted to leave these settlements: members of the Syndicate and those employed as couriers. Tasked with carrying vital objects and information between human towns, couriers undertake dangerous, thankless work. For many, the job is a desperate last chance to protect their freedom or stay alive. For others, the promise of adventure is reason enough to venture outside. The protagonist belongs to the latter group—a man destined to change the course of history, provided he survives long enough to do so. With an emphasis on story and character development, The Courier offers multiple romanceable characters and the freedom to pursue any, all, or none of them. Each character’s route contains story content relevant to them, so choosing not to follow a particular route means missing some of their narrative. Sexual content supports the unfolding story rather than taking precedence over it, keeping the focus on the characters and their place in this tightly controlled world.
