The Corruption Of The Village
Description
In the year 350, a devastating war between goblins and the other races plunged the world into crisis. Driven by little more than the urge to eat and mate, goblins possessed a fearsome advantage despite their size: they could reproduce with any species, and their offspring reached adulthood in just a few months. Years of fighting claimed countless lives before the goblins were finally defeated and the survivors sent into exile. By the year 356, a young man dreams of becoming a great warrior. Determined to defend his home, his family, and the person he loves, he believes the goblins will one day return to seek revenge. For him, their defeat is no reason to abandon vigilance, and the threat of another war gives purpose to his ambitions. The Corruption Of The Village follows that dream beneath the lingering shadow of conflict. While the aspiring warrior looks toward the enemy he expects to face, he has yet to understand a darker truth: evil is everywhere, not only among the goblins he fears.
