Description

Tainted Philter is a visual novel built around the theme of corruption. You step into the role of a shy young man struggling with self-confidence who relocates to an unfamiliar city after finding a place to live rent-free—a lucky break that helps him stay afloat financially after being left with no family or friends to turn to. On your first day of school in this new place, you receive an offer that seems too good to be true. An encounter with an otherworldly woman reveals that magic is real, and she tasks you with a quest centered on corruption to aid her research. To support you, she grants access to a wide variety of potions with assorted magical effects and offers to improve the personality you currently have—one that simply isn’t suited to the job. After accepting her gifts, you eventually discover you’ve gained some extra perks that she knows nothing about, and you decide to keep them secret just in case. Follow the story as you find creative ways to complete this mysterious woman’s task. NETORARE will never appear in the game, and NETORI isn’t planned but may be included in the future. The focus of the story is the MC.
