Description

Symbiont Zero-Type takes place in 2079, when a failed experiment leaves Kuroishi City overrun by Distortions—wild, violent creatures that were once its residents. Returning to the quarantined city is Ella Lane, a former security operative for Stardust Biotech, whose search for answers is driven by a deeply personal disappearance. Ella’s younger sister, Ria, worked as a researcher on the project behind the disaster. After sending Ella a distress signal, she vanished, leaving her sister to discover what happened. For Ella, the outbreak is more than a catastrophe to investigate: somewhere amid its aftermath may lie the answers to Ria’s fate. With Stardust Biotech covering up the outbreak, Ella must search for her sister while uncovering the truth behind the experiment. Her return to Kuroishi City brings her face-to-face with the consequences of the disaster—and the secrecy surrounding her former employer.
