Description

In Succession, you play as Xavier Stark, a streetwise cash-in-hand worker struggling to find his way back into regular employment after a brief spell in prison. A phone call one morning changes everything: the father he never knew has died, leaving his family a dukedom, a vast estate, and millions of pounds in assets. There is just one complication—the late Duke has left it to his relatives to decide who inherits, giving them every reason to fight over his fortune. Entering a rigid, upper-class household filled with stepsiblings competing for the inheritance, Xavier soon discovers that his status as the Duke’s natural-born son makes him a serious threat. With your guidance, he must navigate an unfamiliar world of wealth, women, and mystery. Will he claim his place as the next Duke of Harreford, lose the title to his uncle or stepbrother, or walk away in pursuit of a different life? An alliance could offer another path, allowing him to inherit with a powerful woman at his side. Beyond the family rivalry, free-roam encounters and a lavish social calendar offer opportunities to meet and get to know an intriguing cast of people. Explore extravagant masquerade balls and their dark corridors, take yacht trips, visit country houses, and travel aboard trains and private airplanes. Competitive tennis, duck shooting, poolside dips, yoga, and excursions around the family grounds round out Xavier’s introduction to aristocratic life. Yet beneath the manor’s polished surface, all is not as it seems—and when you are next in line, nothing is off limits.
