Description

In Straitened Times, a young man’s comfortable life unravels when the holy Father of his small religious commune is arrested for financial theft. Alongside the Mother Superior and two novice Sisters—none of whom are related to him by blood—he must leave that stability behind and start over with very little. Their new home consists of just two rooms in a shady motel, the only accommodation the commune can afford. With so little space to go around, privacy is scarce, and the protagonist now has to share a room—or even a bed—with one of the women. As the commune’s new man of the house, he faces a life far removed from the one he knew. You decide what kind of future he will pursue as the group adjusts to its cramped surroundings and changed circumstances.
