Description

Straight!? is an in-development visual novel centered on mature gay themes, following Zack from his first day of college as he meets his new roommate, Braden. Their developing relationship anchors a coming-of-age story about acceptance, friendship, and the deeper questions that arise when figuring out who you are. Dialogue and character development drive the narrative, with frequent conversations and playful banter revealing more about both leads while moving their relationship forward. Sexual content is part of the experience, but the story takes priority, allowing anticipation and teasing to build as readers share in Zack’s struggles. The result balances emotionally weighty, thought-provoking moments with humor. Episodic updates advance the plot like installments of a serialized novel. The game’s quality also improves as development progresses: its creator began with no experience and continues to learn through each update and new addition to the team. Straight!? offers an evolving, character-focused experience for readers who appreciate a gradual build and a strong emphasis on personal connection.
