Single Again follows Frank Shavell, a widower facing an impending divorce, as he returns to the loft he once shared with his first wife. After her untimely death, it was the last place he wanted to revisit. Now, that home becomes the starting point for rebuilding his life, with unexpected opportunities for companionship and love emerging along the way. Experience the story through Frank’s eyes as you get to know the people around him. The cast includes his adopted daughter, Abigail Shavell; Abigail’s stepsister, Lilith Oxton; and Lilith’s older sister, Rebecca Oxton. You’ll also meet Vanessa Day and Elizabeth Carter-Day, a lesbian couple Frank works for. Character development and storytelling take center stage, giving Frank’s fresh start room to unfold. Played from a first-person perspective, Single Again uses a visual novel format: you read the story and occasionally make decisions that influence its direction. Choices appear less frequently than in many similar games, but some have substantial consequences. A decision made in the morning might change what happens that evening—or affect events days later. There is no point system, hidden or otherwise, so decisions aren’t about finding the option that raises a score.
