Description

For Ryoto Mima, Junko Sudo has long been a comforting presence in his life. His best friend’s mother and the greengrocer next door, she offered the warmth and affection that made her feel like family. But during one summer, a single intimate moment changes the way he sees her, turning familiar closeness into an attraction he can no longer easily dismiss. As Ryoto begins to see Junko as a woman rather than simply an auntie-like figure, she finds herself wrestling with feelings she believed were long forgotten. Their bond takes on a new and unsettling significance, drawing them toward a boundary neither should cross. She Was A Woman—Not Just An Auntie: A Forbidden Summer With The Greengrocer’s Wife Next Door centers on the tension between longstanding affection and forbidden desire. With Junko’s place in Ryoto’s life making those feelings all the more complicated, their summer becomes a delicate struggle between the comfort of what they have always known and the pull of something neither expected.
