Description

In Afternoon Affairs & Helpless Housewives, Takumi Nakama has reached a standstill. After failing his college entrance exams, he has little motivation to search for a job and no clear idea of what comes next. Then his parents give him an old, run-down apartment building to manage, leaving him with a new responsibility despite his lack of direction. At the building, Takumi meets two women who live there, each facing troubles of her own. What begins as an unexpected change in his circumstances brings him into contact with lives just as unsettled as his. With a struggling young man and two troubled residents at its center, Afternoon Affairs & Helpless Housewives sets the stage for a story of personal difficulties and new connections beneath one weathered roof.
