Description

In Sensual Haunting, you play as Sammy Grainsville, a poltergeist who died under mysterious circumstances twenty years ago and has haunted his former home ever since. Ten years ago, Natasha attempted to banish him, stripping away most of his power and leaving him dormant. The house remained unsold throughout that time, until a new family finally moved in: husband Hans, wife Marin, and their daughter Elizabeth. On their first night, Elizabeth’s private moment of pleasure, combined with Marin’s sexual frustration, awakens Sammy. Still haunted by his own desires, he must rebuild his strength to interact with the living world. Over several days, Sammy seeks to influence the women in the house and gather sexual energy, choosing whether to manipulate, harass, or offer support when they need it. His approach shapes his relationships with the family, with a relationship value determining whether they become fond of his presence, tolerate it, or grow angry with him. Higher values make them more accepting of Sammy on a subconscious level, allowing him to interact with them more easily without arousing suspicion. Explore the home’s various rooms throughout the day, with Sammy’s attributes determining where and how he can interact. Objects in each room provide opportunities to use his supernatural abilities, and more frequent interaction with the environment brings events about sooner. Those encounters can strengthen or weaken his abilities while changing his relationships, making each use of his powers part of his struggle to regain influence over the household.
