Description

The hero and his party have defeated the Dark Lord, but their victory has not put an end to his ambitions. Before his fall, he concealed a portion of his power, leaving it for someone else to discover and use to finish what he began. Sent by the king to observe and assist the hero’s party, you join their quest to locate this hidden power—yet your position may offer a chance to become far more than a royal representative. In Rise Of Corruption, you take the role of the villain rather than the savior. What begins as a mission to aid the heroes becomes an opportunity to corrupt numerous characters and, eventually, the world itself. Your duty to the king stands in contrast to the darker possibilities before you as you pursue the legacy of a seemingly defeated enemy. Combat is part of the game, but it is not the central focus. Instead, Rise Of Corruption emphasizes gradual corruption, letting you observe how characters and the world change at each stage. The appeal lies in that unfolding transformation, following the process step by step until your corruption is complete.
