Description

Our Life: Now & Forever invites you to start over in the second chapter of the warmly nostalgic Our Life series. Autumn has settled over a small mountain town, but the changing season isn’t the only thing in motion—you and your mother have just left behind everything you knew to move into a well-worn house in the middle of a tight-knit cul-de-sac. A delicate paper airplane drifts to your feet there, carrying you toward crossroads you never expected. Grow from childhood into adulthood alongside your two closest neighbors, shaping your own path through life even in the chilly fall weather—it’s a genuinely heartwarming time. The story spans four distinct periods: childhood, the teen years, young adulthood, and fully grown life. You can customize your character’s name, appearance, personality, and pronouns (he/him, she/her, they/them, enter your own, or use more than one), and your mom is partially customizable to match. As you grow, you’re free to change your character’s details however you like, including transitioning to new pronouns. The personality, feelings, and preferences you shape are reflected back in the story as characters remember who you are. Two love interests await: Tamarack (female, she/her) and Qiu (gender fluid, they/he). Their dynamics with you develop in a custom way over the years, shaped by their experiences with you. How quickly or slowly those relationships grow is entirely your call—from love at first sight to a last-minute confession to staying friends throughout and more. Letter size, font type, and text positioning are all customizable so the words appear in whichever way works best for you. It’s a welcoming, sentimental story made to be enjoyed again and again, whether through new main character qualities or different connection types with the two leads.
