Description

Oshioki Lesson follows an employee roughly six months into a new department assignment. Despite occasional lateness and mistakes, the protagonist feels secure thanks to a seemingly supportive senior colleague. Their workplace banter appears harmless—until a casual joke and a half-hearted apology mark the beginning of an inescapable cycle of punishment. The colleague’s reassuring presence gives way to coercive control, with each attempt at resistance met by escalating abuse. As the protagonist’s confidence and ability to defy him erode, the relationship becomes one of forced obedience, sexual exploitation, and humiliation. The mistreatment extends beyond the office into conference rooms, restrooms, storage areas, and izakayas, leaving little separation between work and personal life. Built around a disturbing abuse of workplace authority, Oshioki Lesson depicts confinement through intimidation rather than trust or affection. Its narrative includes sexual violence, physical assaults, degrading demands, and bodily-fluid humiliation, presenting the protagonist’s growing fear and loss of autonomy as the central consequences of the senior colleague’s domination.
