Oathbreaker is a strategy and tactical RPG that pairs a continent on the brink of conflict with the gradual transformation of its main character. Take command of the protagonist, affectionately known as “Pup,” and his mercenary corps as they become caught up in the growing tensions threatening to push Ilvanis to its breaking point. War and politics shape the struggles across Ilvanis, but the land’s ancient relics—the Oathbreakers—present a different kind of danger. Forbidden and famed for their power to warp and defy the laws of the Goddess, these artifacts loom over the unfolding conflict. Even Pup may find himself in their crosshairs as he and his company navigate the continent’s mounting turmoil. Created by Icarue as head of game development and 6six6 as head writer, Oathbreaker also features contributions from a wider team handling editing, testing, and supporting writing. Its combination of tactical RPG gameplay, political conflict, and a slowly changing protagonist places both the fate of Ilvanis and Pup’s personal journey at the heart of the experience.
