Description

In NOIR: Skin Deep, you’re a homicide detective working the streets of Mirage Bay, a sprawling coastal city in Southern California, circa 2015. A call on a Tuesday night brings you to a strip club where two men lie dead: the owner in his office and the shooter beside him. At first glance, it looks like a gang hit—the kind of case that should be closed quickly. But that straightforward explanation doesn’t hold up. As you dig into the murders, the list of suspects grows to include people close to the victim, business rivals, and officials with no apparent reason to be connected to the crime. The evidence refuses to settle into a clear picture, pointing in competing directions as each lead opens up another line of inquiry. What begins as an apparently simple homicide becomes an investigation defined by uncertainty and tangled connections. Finding out who pulled the trigger is no longer enough. With every new discovery complicating the case, a harder question takes its place: who do you believe?
