Murmur is a character-focused chatbot that lets you talk to a local AI running on your own machine or network. With a fully customizable persona and artwork that updates as the story unfolds, it pairs ongoing conversation with a changing visual experience. There are currently two characters to chat with: a girl who lives with you and a girl you meet on a cruise ship. The first character offers four base archetypes—good girl, tsundere, kuudere, and broken—giving you distinct starting points for her personality. Built for longer-running interactions, Murmur retains conversational context much longer than online chats. Its automatic compaction feature helps keep the story consistent as conversations grow, supporting continuity across your evolving exchanges.
