Mother Village continues in Chapter 4 as the night unfolds at Ava’s house. With danger lurking outside, Ava and her daughter Lilly try to persuade the hero—an alpha dog—to come indoors. Despite their efforts, he refuses to cross the threshold and remains outside the door. Inside, Ava discovers a mysterious videotape whose origins she cannot explain. Titled How to Train Your Dog Episode 1 Bully, it may hold the answer to bringing the dog to safety—or lead Ava and Lilly into an entirely different kind of night. Chapter 3 follows three mothers in the village through a night of madness, nightmares, lust, and fear. Their experiences draw each of them to the church, unaware that the others are headed there as well. As their stories converge, questions of honesty, innocence, and guilt come to the forefront. Can they reveal everything that happened, or has each woman paid a price for her own sins? Picking up where Chapter 1 ends, Chapter 2 continues the adventures of Mother Village’s unusual hero alongside a nun who has recently arrived in town. His presence leaves an unsettling question hanging over the village: is he a cherished friend to its people, or the nightmare they have yet to recognize?
