Description

In Mother By Hypnosis, Souichi Chiba has spent the past two years living alone following his father’s death. His mother died when he was born, so he grew up with only his father and never experienced a mother’s care. Now, with no relatives left, his longing for someone he can call “Mom” has become a powerful mother complex. Souichi’s doctor and longtime confidant, Minami Koube, offers an unexpected response to that desire: “If you want a mom that much, there is an interesting way, you know?” Intrigued by her suggestion, he agrees to pursue an unconventional possibility—using hypnotism to find the mother figure he has always wanted. Built around Souichi’s loneliness and yearning for a bond he has never known, Mother By Hypnosis follows his efforts to turn Minami’s unusual proposal into reality. His search for maternal affection sets the stage for a story in which hypnosis becomes the means of pursuing his deepest wish.
