Description

Lost Freedom, formerly known as Lost Daughter, is a linear visual novel centered on a father–daughter incest storyline, with three supporting characters who bring their own stories to the narrative. Its main plot follows a man who discovers he has a young adult daughter only when her grandmother reveals the truth. Fearing that her granddaughter will be left alone after her death, the elderly woman asks him to take responsibility for the daughter he never knew existed. Pretty and intelligent, but also strong-willed and somewhat spoiled, his daughter has a personality that immediately clashes with his own. He resists the idea of forming a bond with her, prompting her grandmother to devise a plan that will force the two to meet and give them a chance to connect. Even as he gets to know his daughter, the protagonist remains uncertain about taking on a place in her life and chooses to keep his identity secret. But an unexpected move on her part leaves him cornered, complicating a situation already shaped by concealed family ties, conflicting personalities, and a responsibility he is reluctant to accept.
