Life In Woodchester is an adult visual novel, dating sim, and adventure game in development by Dirty Sock Games. Designed to bring together character interaction and varied gameplay, it plans to offer both main and side quests alongside systems for dating, inventory, stats, energy, and money. Built with the popular and flexible GameMaker Studio 2 (GMS2) engine, Life In Woodchester also has extensive visual customization planned. Shader-based options will let players change every character’s hair, skin, and eye colors, while Live2D is intended to deliver fluid, interactive animations. An in-game phone will add another way to connect with characters through text messages. The planned activities extend to quality minigames built using GMS2 templates, including poker, blackjack, and arcade games. Together, these features aim to give Life In Woodchester a mix of visual novel storytelling, dating-sim interaction, and smaller games to enjoy along the way.
