A small colony of exiled queens has been living out their days imitating the only life they’ve ever known—until an unnatural infestation shatters the routine. When mysterious seed pods begin spreading across their habitat, the ants find themselves fighting to survive against mutated insects that have overrun their gathering spaces. Yet what matters most to them is securing those strange new seeds for themselves: seeds that reshape their bodies, unlocking new evolutions to help them defeat the creatures, and seeds that have somehow allowed their barren Queen to start producing eggs once again. LesbiAnts: Our New Morphology is an adult retro horror-RPG built especially for the Game Boy, blending easy-to-use menu-based combat with top-down exploration as you guide a small ant colony toward each mysterious seed. The story runs about an hour as your colony of Sisters fights to secure the seeds across four explorable areas, each now hiding little secrets to root out. Try to keep every Sister alive against a variety of grotesque and unnerving creepy-crawlies—but if one falls, the others must carry on, tending to both the Queen they love and their rapidly growing new brood of eggs. Upgrade the ants with a range of biotic evolutions that grant extra abilities, improved stats, and even out-of-combat interactions; some NPC encounters can yield a free upgrade or two as well. Multiple difficulties let players at any skill level experience the Sisters’ story—Relaxed Mode removes some obstructing enemy encounters and boosts your base stats for an easier time. Finishing the main story unlocks bonus modes, including Gauntlet Mode, where you face every boss again, and Arcade Mode, where you keep the Queen fed and happy. This version adds more secrets, more dialog, and more rewards, including special scenes, a gallery of all the adult art pieces, and a bestiary of every enemy insect. There are also ANT-chievements to work toward if that’s your thing.
