Description

In Last Resort, your grandfather’s death leaves your family bracing for the sort of inheritance they always expected from him: debts, terrible jokes, and perhaps a scandal or two. What he leaves you instead is far stranger—a heavy key adorned with a pair of carved breasts, without a word explaining what it opens or why you should have it. Your relatives spent his entire life calling him a lunatic, and his choice of keepsake does little to challenge that reputation. Yet there’s something about the key that makes it difficult to dismiss. It feels warm against your palm, almost as though it’s inviting you to discover what lies behind its peculiar design. Whatever your grandfather was involved in, he’s left you with the means to unlock it—and none of the answers. An eccentric inheritance becomes a tantalizing mystery, with one very unusual key standing between you and whatever he kept hidden.
