In Hurricane, Rachel is a talented tattoo artist whose life has stalled. Trapped in a dead-end job and earning barely enough to scrape by, she’s surrounded by people who take more than they give. Despite her frustrations, she holds on to the belief that freedom is only one lucky break away. The people Rachel meets along the way challenge her understanding of love, trust, loyalty, and forgiveness. As she confronts what it truly means to have someone in her corner, the distance between wanting a better life and finding a way toward it becomes harder to ignore. At the heart of Hurricane is Rachel’s struggle to move beyond simply getting through each day. Talent and hope have kept her going, but clawing her way out of a life that leaves her stuck may prove far more difficult than she ever imagined.
