Description

Hoshizora No Memoria – Wish Upon A Shooting Star follows Kogasaka You and his younger sister, Chinami, as they return to their hometown of Hibarigasaki after their mother’s death to live with their aunt Shino. For You, coming home brings back memories of his first true friend: a girl he met almost every day after school at the town’s observation lookout. Heartbroken when she learned he would be moving to the city, she made him promise to return someday and marry her, sealing their farewell with a kiss on his forehead. Years later, You finds the familiar lookout abandoned and fenced off. There, he encounters Mare, a mysterious girl carrying a scythe who bears a striking resemblance to the childhood friend he has never forgotten. As he settles into life in Hibarigasaki, he forms new friendships through his school’s astronomy club and his job at a local restaurant, all while searching for the girl from his past. His continued visits to Mare draw him toward an unanswered question: who is she, and can she help him understand what became of the promise he left behind?
